Destacada per "la qualitat del seu so" i la seva "solvència musical i interpretativa", la jove violista Cristina Cordero (Madrid, 1998) s'està consolidant com una intèrpret versàtil, sol·licitada com a solista i com a músic de cambra. Ha participat en prestigiosos festivals com Verbier Festival, Schloss Elmau Festival o el Festival Emergents, sent a més convidada amb regularitat per a col·laborar amb ensembles i grups de cambra per tota Europa. Ha actuat com a solista juntament amb orquestres com l'Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya o l'Orquesta Filarmónica de Castilla-La Mancha, i en algunes de les sales més importants d'Espanya com el Teatro Real, el Palau de la Música Catalana o l'Auditori de Barcelona. Des de 2022, Cristina és Catedràtica de Viola en el Conservatorio Superior de Música d'Aragó.
Heide is one of the most sought-after piano accompanists and chamber musicians of his generation, performing throughout Europe and Asia since his graduation from Franz-Liszt-Hochschule in Weimar. He regularly works with singers such as Andrè Schuen, Christoph Prégardien, and Roman Trekel. He has also played with Marie Seidler, Hanno Müller-Brachmann, Luca Pisaroni, Ruth Ziesak, Katharina Konradi and Konstantin Krimmel. In the field of chamber music, he has performed concerts with soloists such as Tabea Zimmermann, Antje Weithaas, Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, Jens Peter Maintz, Friedemann Eichhorn, Barbara Buntrock, Julian Steckel, and Konstanze von Gutzeit. His CD Poêmes, recorded with mezzo-soprano Stella Doufexis, performing songs by Claude Debussy, received the German Record Critics' Award in 2013, while his CD with Andrè Schuen performing lieder by Robert Schumann, Hugo Wolf, and Frank Martin was awarded the ECHO Klassik 2016 prize in the Best Newcomer category.
Born in Barcelona, he studied Medicine before dedicating his time to music. He studied at the Conservatori Superior de Música in Barcelona and later at the Musik Akademie in Basel. He has specialized in Rossini and Mozart repertoires, having sung Così fan tutte, Don Giovanni, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, La Cenerentola, Il Barbiere di Siviglia or Semiramide. He has also performed oratorio, from Monteverdi to Honnegger, particularly Bach, Händel, Mozart, Mendelssohn and Haydn. Song recitals are a favorite of David Alegret, as they perfectly complement his vocal abilities and personal tastes. He has taken on a wide repertoire with composers as Schubert, Schumann, Beethoven, or Strauss. Due to his roots and his identification with the genre, Catalan song plays a large role in his repertoire, and he performs works by composers such as Toldrà, Mompou, Joan, and Ricard Lamote de Grignon among others.
A musician with a passion for chamber music and art song, she has performed in venues and festivals including the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, the Teatro Real, the Seoul Spring Festival of Chamber Music, the Oxford Lieder Festival or the Aix-en-Provence Festival. She has partnered with artists including Wolfgang Holzmair, Tara Erraught, Michael Spyres or Elena Copons, and has performed as soloist with numerous ensembles. Born in Massachusetts, Deirdre earned a Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College with a double major in Engineering Sciences and Music, and Master's degrees from both the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Konservatorium Wien (MUK). She is currently teaching at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität in Linz and the Joseph Haydn Konservatorium in Eisenstadt. She is co-founder and director of the Boyne Music Festival in Ireland as well as the innovative concert series Mosaïque in Vienna.
Born in Flensburg (Germany,) she was a member of the Ensemble at the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, where in 2017, having sung over 20 roles at the theatre, she was awarded the title of Kammersängerin. She has been a frequent guest at the Salzburg Festival and the Wiener Staatsoper. She has also appeared at La Monnaie, the Opéra Bastille, the Royal Opera House and the Teatro alla Scala. Recent role debuts include Elisabeth (Tannhäuser) at the Semperoper Dresden and Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos) at the Edinburgh International Festival. She is a renowned recitalist and her recent appearances include the Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam’s Het Concertgebouw, the Wiener Konzerthaus and concert halls in Madrid, Barcelona, Cologne and Brussels, and at the Munich and Schwarzenberg Festivals. She has also appeared frequently in concerts in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
