Born in Buenos Aires to Slovenian parents, she received her vocal and musical training at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón. She is one of the most sought-after singers in concerts and recitals, acclaimed for her musical versatility and by leading orchestras and conductors in Europe and America. Her repertoire ranges from ancient music to music of the 20th century. She regularly holds masterclasses at Wiener Meisterkurse, the Young Singers Project (YSP) in Salzburg, the Academy of the Aix-en-Provence Festival, the Schubert-Institute in Baden and in Aldeburgh. During the 2017/2018 season she will perform, among others, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in Rome, Mahler’s Symphony n. 2 with Mariss Jansons in Copenhagen and under Andris Nelsons at the Salzburg Festival, and will tour South America with Camerata Salzburg. In 2014 she received the title of Österreichische Kammersängerin.
