Lied the Future is a programme for the support of young European talents in the field of art song and chamber music. Through this initiative, the Franz Schubert Association is strengthening its educational endeavours, which it launched in 1994 with the International Course of Lied and further expanded as from 2018 with the Academy of the Schubertíada. For its part, Lied the Future also bolsters the debut concerts of young artists within the framework of the Schubertíada, taking advantage of our festival’s renown in order to help these gifted musicians enter the national and international concert circuits.
