A “stage animal” (Musik & Theater) with "a voluptuous timbre and virtuosic coloratura" (Diapason), French soprano Julie Fuchs has established herself as one the most exciting opera singers of her generation; dazzling audiences across the world’s premiere opera houses. Winner of three Victoires de la Musique awards, and Chevalier de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres, her repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary music with a focus on Mozart and Bel Canto heroines. In 2022/23, Julie makes her role debut as Giulietta (I Capuleti E I Montecchi) at the Opera de Paris, her role debut as Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare) at the Dutch National Opera, and her role debut as Juliette (Roméo et Juliette) at Opernhaus Zürich. She also performs Norina (Don Pasquale) at Opernhaus Zürich, Poppea (L'incoronazione di Poppea) at Gran Teatre del Liceu, and in concert throughout Europe. Her next album will be released in the Autumn of 2022.
