After completing her initial studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Anna Gebhardt trained in piano at the same school under professor Silke Avenhaus, and in Würzburg under professor Bernd Glemser. At present she is studying Lied Interpretation under professors Christian Gerhaher and Gerold Huber in Munich. Anna Gebhardt has won a number of prizes in different competitions, including second prize in the Harald-Genzmer Contest. Likewise, she has performed in the Swiss Chamber Music Festival and in the Espresso-Konzerte cycle at the Berlin Konzerthaus, and she collaborates in the children’s concerts of the Bavarian State Opera. Anna Gebhardt has received musical advice from Brigitte Fassbaender (at the Schwarzenberg Schubertiade) and Ian Bostridge, and has been awarded grants on various occasions from the Deutschlandstipendium and Yehudi Menuhim-Live Music Now programmes. She also teaches at the Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum of the University of Augsburg.
Titulada en Interpretació de la Dansa i Coreografia per l’Institut del Teatre (2017), formada en música i arts plàstiques des de molt jove, però consagrada sobretot a la dansa, estudià tècnica clàssica, contemporània i tradicional, i s’especialitzà en dansa del Renaixement i del Barroc amb els millors mestres de l'àmbit internacional. Començà la seva activitat professional com a ballarina de les companyies franceses Ensemble Donaïres i L’Eventail, amb la qual treballa regularment. És coreògrafa i membre fundadora d’Els Pirates Teatre i de Xuriach (música i dansa antiga i tradicional). Com a creadora, es mou sempre en projectes interdisciplinaris, i ha creat diversos concerts escenificats amb els grups Diatessaron, Forma Antiqva, Ensemble Santenay, Il Profondo, La Sonorosa, Divina Mysteria, Mensa Sonora o Vespres d’Arnadí.
Born in Barcelona, he is nowadays recognized as one of the most versatile cellists of his generation, combining solistic projects with an intense chamber music activity, being the founder of the Cuarteto Casals and the Ludwig Trio. He is regularly invited in the most important festivals and concert cycles and played as a solist with the Radiotelevisión Española, Sinfónica de Tenerife, Sinfónica de Galicia y OBC orchesters. Arnau Tomàs has compiled a substantial and extensive discography; specially remarkable are his recordings of the Bach Suites and the sonatas and variations by Beethoven. In addition to his concert activities, Arnau has been Guestprofessor at the Hochschule für Musik Köln and has given various masterclasses and courses both in Europe and the United States.
Llicenciat en Art Dramàtic per l’Institut del Teatre de Barcelona, també s’ha format en cant, dansa jazz i claqué. Entre els muntatges teatrals en els quals ha participat destaquen: Pares normals, dirigit per Sergi Belbel, al Teatre Poliorama (2022); Els secundaris, dirigit per Adrià Aubert, a El Maldà (2022); Cantando bajo la lluvia, dirigit per Àngel Llàcer, al Teatre Tívoli (2021-22); La tienda de los horrores, dirigit per Àngel Llàcer, al Grec (2019) i al Teatre Coliseum (2019-20); Pel davant i pel darrere, dirigit per Alexander Herold, al Teatre Borràs (2018); Gente bien de La Cubana, al Teatre Coliseum (2016-17) o Molt soroll per no res, dirigit per Àngel Llàcer, al Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (2015). És membre fundador d'Els Pirates Teatre, companyia amb la qual ha participat en la majoria dels espectacles i gestiona la sala de teatre El Maldà (2013).

She is the 3rd prize winner of the 2019 Wigmore Hall Competition, and grand winner of the prestigious 2022 Elizabeth Connell Prize for dramatic voices. She has performed at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Oper Frankfurt Glyndebourne Festival, Opernhaus Zürich or Auditorio de Madrid with roles as Erda and Erste Norn (Der Ring des Nibelungen), Bianca (Bianca e Falliero), Bradamente (Alcina), Arsace (Semiramide) or Cornelia (Giulio Cesare). She is in very high demand across Europe’s concert platforms also in song and oratorio. She has performed with notable ensembles including the Dunedin Consort, Capella Mediterranea, the Ricercare Ensemble and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and with notable pianists as Julius Drake, Jonathan Ware, and rising star Hamish Brown.
