Multi Grammy Award winner and 2018 Olivier Award winner for Outstanding Achievement in Opera, Kansas-born Joyce DiDonato entrances audiences across the globe, and has been proclaimed “perhaps the most potent female singer of her generation” by the New Yorker. In opera, Joyce’s recent roles include Sister Helen (Dead Man Walking) at the Teatro Real Madrid and London’s Barbican Centre as well as Maria Stuarda for the Metropolitan Opera, The Royal Opera and the Liceu Barcelona. Recent highlights include recitals with the Brentano Quartet at Wigmore Hall and with Pappano at The Royal Opera. Joyce’s 2018/19 season sees her first staged Didon (Les Troyens) at the Vienna State Opera and Agrippina in concert with Il pomo d’oro at the Liceu Barcelona in May, as well as the release of her album SongPlay and ‘Winterreise’ in recital.
