Inspired by Gerald Moore to pursue a career as a piano accompanist, he studied Music at Magdalene College in Cambridge and later joined the Royal Opera House as a repetiteur, completing his training with renowned teacher Paul Hamburger. He has been a guest lecturer at numerous universities and teaches masterclasses in major cities in Europe and North America. His latest engagements include recitals with Kate Royal, Thomas Oliemans, Elizabeth Vatios, Mark Padmore, Roderick Williams, John Mark Ainsley, and Dorothea Roschmann.
