Born in 1990, he starts his musical studies as a cellist. He graduates at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold (Germany) He starts his singing studies in Germany in 2013 and afterwards he graduates suma cum laude in Barcelona at the Liceu Conservatoire He was selected in 2019 to participate in the Primer Palau competition in Barcelona and since then has had the opportunity to debut in some of the most recognized festivals in Spain, like the Schubertíada (Spain) o the Barcelona Spring Festival. He has also sung in concert halls such as Palau de la Música Catalana, Auditori de Barcelona, Teatro Calderón de Valladolid, Auditorio Príncipe de Asturias de Oviedo o Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao. In the lied genre he has performed works by Schubert (Winterreise), Schumann (Liederkreis and Dichterliebe), Beethoven (An die ferne Geliebte), Brahms (Vier ernste Gesänge), Debussy (Fêtes Galantes), Poulenc (Tel jour telle nuit) or Copland (Old American Songs).
The composer and pianist Albert Guinovart is the exceptional heir of the extraordinary cultural renaissance that emerged so powerfully in early twentieth-century Catalonia. His prolific work includes the composition of two operas, a ballet, an extensive catalogue of symphonic works, and no less important production of chamber repertoire, with the piano as a constant feature of his work from the beginning of his career to the present. As a performer, Albert Guinovart has given concerts in which he performs his own compositions, as well as the great repertoire, in numerous recitals in the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, America, Japan, and Australia. It is not difficult to find him in important and renowned concert series, and he has left us with unforgettable moments with the recitals that he has given all over the world, together with Victoria de los Ángeles.
Oriol Prat Sabater finished his Master at the Stuttgarter Musikhochschule with Claudio Bohórquez. In 2013, he started as a cellist in the Cosmos Quartet, and he worked with Lluís Claret. In 2012, he finished the superior studies at the ESMuC (High School Music of Catalonia) with Damian Martínez, and he received chamber music lessons with the Casals Quartet and Kennedy Moretti. In 2005, he won the first prize in l'Arjau Competition in Barcelona and the same year he started playing at the JONC (Youth Orchestra of Catalonia), and in 2013 at the JONDE (Youth Orchestra of Spain).
